About the test
The Accounting and MS Excel test evaluates a candidate’s ability to measure, process, and communicate the financial information of a business or corporation, as well as the ability to organize and calculate data contained within a spreadsheet.
This assessment can be used as an accounting test for pre-employment screening of candidates applying for a variety of roles, including staff accountant, financial accountant, and management accountant, or as a finance test for candidates applying for financial analyst or financial management positions. A good candidate for any accounting job requiring the use of spreadsheets will be able to display competency with sorting and filtering data, using functions, and writing formulas.
This test requires candidates to perform assignments within spreadsheet software as well as answer multiple-choice and calculation questions about the principles and core subjects within the accounting and finance disciplines. Candidates can use either their personal copy of Microsoft Excel or the free web version of MS Excel to complete the test.

What others say
Simple, straight-forward technical testing
TestDome is simple, provides a reasonable (though not extensive) battery of tests to choose from, and doesn't take the candidate an inordinate amount of time. It also simulates working pressure with the time limits.
